is Phill Smith:
Name
is Phill Maynard Smith born May 7th 1957 Nassau Bahamas he attended
St Augustine College from 69-74 he played basketball & softball
under Mr. Vince Ferguson, he also ran track under Martin Lundy he
graduated from St Augustine College in 1974 from there he went to
Langston University in Oklahoma where he played Basketball there
at the Collegiate level, he Graduated in 1981 with a B.A Degree
in Broadcasting Journalism.
Phill
is Married to Mrs Blossie Smith from Green Castle Eleuthera she
also works at the The
Broadcasting Corporation of the Bahamas Z.N.S as a sales Supervisor
They
were married on Sepetember 10th 1983 and they have Three Children;
Dupree age 25 he currently lives in Houston Texas, Karissa age 22
she is working at Atlantis Hotel and Avent age 16 a Student and
they reside in Bel-Air Estates of Carmichael Road Nassau, Bahamas.

Phill
work with K.O.C.O T.V in Oklahoma before he came home to start his
Career at The Broadcasting Corporation of the Bahamas Z.N.S in june
1981 as a reporter and has work his way up to the now Sports Director
at the Z.N.S

IN THE CARIBBEAN & COMMONWEALTH Games:
I
covered numerous Carifta Games both here at home and abroad from
Barbados to Martinique, Jamaica, Trinidad, all over the Caribbean
Also C.A.C Games in Track and Field, Centro Basketball Tournements
Commonwealth Games.. I also hosted all of the Bahamas games ever
held, on both Radio and Television

I
covered two Olympic games Sydney, Australia, and Atlanta, Georgia,
I did play by play daily T.V reports i also worked with the Caribbean
Media Corporation providing reports for the rest of the Caribbean
